De Berkelstee is a small-scale park with only 4 holiday homes. Wonderfully quiet location on the edge of the cozy Eibergen. The park has all the necessary facilities for young and old: think of the laundry room and the joint, secure storage (for your bicycles, for example). And for the youngsters there is a football field, trampoline, tennis court and playground equipment. The park is surrounded by some meadows in which horses graze. The center of Eibergen can be reached on foot at a distance of around 1 kilometer and is equipped with all facilities, including cozy cafes, ice cream parlors and restaurants. Four supermarkets and many shops can also be found here. Bed linen and towels are included in the accommodation. All homes have been completely renovated in 2020 and equipped with all modern conveniences, such as (free) internet and smart TV (including Netflix and Spotify). The interior of the houses is rural, but sturdy and modern. The 4-person cottage has a small bedroom where the bed is entered from behind. If you have difficulty walking, we recommend a 5-person cottage with a spacious bedroom.
Within a radius of 3 kilometers there are many activities / sights such as the Mallumse mill of Eibergen (starting point for many cycling and walking routes), the short golf course of Eibergen, outdoor swimming pool Vinkennest, indoor and outdoor play paradise Hof van Eckbergen, de Berkel on which you can go along with the Berkelzomp, can take a tour and/or canoe, the open-air theater of Eibergen with performances by many well-known artists, the Kruidenhof in Mallum, etc. Outside Eibergen (everything within a radius of 15 kilometers) you can enjoy nature park De Leemputten (including. pedal boats), Museum More, a climbing forest, a maze (all in Ruurlo), the gull colony in Zwillbrock (just across the border) and the fire brigade museum (in Borculo). But above all, you can of course enjoy the beautiful scenic landscape in the Achterhoek, where you can enjoy walking and cycling. In short, plenty to do for young and old.
