The house is simple, warm and functional, offering a calm place to stay close to nature. Large windows provide views that change with the light and weather, creating a strong connection with the surrounding Arctic landscape. A small local shop is located nearby, while the Arctic wilderness begins just outside the window. On clear nights, the Northern Lights can often be seen above the house, and during summer the midnight sun creates unique light conditions.

My name is Karolina and I live on the island of Senja in northern Norway. Arctic Wonderland was created as a quiet place for people who value simplicity, nature and space. The stay is organised as self check-in, with respect for guests’ privacy. Due to the nature of my work, personal contact during the stay is not part of the experience, however I am available online or by message if needed.

The area is quiet and sparsely populated, surrounded by Arctic nature. The surroundings are well suited for short walks and simple outdoor activities, directly from the house. The landscape changes with the seasons and weather, offering open space and natural scenery. During winter, the Northern Lights can often be observed directly from the area, depending on weather and solar activity. A small local shop is located nearby, providing basic groceries and essentials. Wildlife is part of everyday life here. Guests may encounter reindeer, moose, otters and coastal birds, especially when moving quietly and respectfully through the area. This is not a tourist resort or a busy area. The location is best suited for guests who enjoy nature, silence and staying close to wildlife in a remote setting.
