Enjoy Bergen city and Norwegian nature by staying in this cute and cosy blue Norwegian house. There is an instant home-feeling when you enter the place, with home-made art and hand picked decoration, cute details and restored fine wooden furniture. The house is only 10 mn by bus to the city center and 3 mn by foot to the bus stop and grocery store. We gladly accept dogs in the house <3 The garden and terrace face west so that you can enjoy the sun until late in the evenings. There are plenty of randonnée possibilities just nearby the house, and a lovely lake 10mn by foot. Perfect for a good swim after a tour in the mountains! I’ll give you plenty of tips for you to have a good stay and experience.
I work as an oceanographer and I really enjoy the peacefulness of this beautiful Norwegian nature, the fjords, the sea and the mountains. As Bergen is also a known city of art and food, I enjoy visiting art exhibitions, and try new restaurants in the city center.
It is a quiet and family-friendly neighborhood, surrounded by mountains and forest. by car: you can park for free above the house, in riplegården street, or under the house in Monrad Mjeldes vei street by bus: from and to the city center there is the bus 19. the bus stop is called Melkeplasse and is only 4mn walk to the house via a little gravel road shortcut.
