The property does not have indoor plumbing, but well water is available from a tap by the entrance, equipped with an electric pump. Fishing rights do not apply to Strandavatnet, the lake closest to the cabin. The cabin is accessible by car year-round, offering both relaxation and comfort in a beautiful mountain setting. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave, waffle iron, kettle, and coffee maker—everything you need for a comfortable stay. The cabin does not have indoor plumbing, but fresh well water is available from a tap by the entrance, equipped with an electric pump that functions year-round. The water is safe to drink. The cabin offers three bedrooms and a loft, accommodating up to 10 guests—perfect for larger families or groups. A dedicated room with a pump shower makes it easy to freshen up, and a practical indoor outhouse (with an electronic ventilation system) ensures convenience and comfort. Outside, there is plenty of space to relax on the large terrace with breathtaking views. You can fire up the charcoal grill for a delicious meal or gather around the fire pit for cozy evenings under the stars. In the summer, the lush landscape invites exploration, while winter offers miles of groomed trails. The area around Raggsteindalen is renowned for its untouched wilderness, providing a true sense of nature, especially as it borders Hallingskarvet National Park. The cabin is only 7 km from Hallingskarvet Ski Center, which is known for its long, wide, and well-groomed slopes with great variety, fantastic off-piste opportunities, and plenty of space. The ski center features 3 lifts and 8 runs, catering to everyone—from families with children to hardcore powder enthusiasts. Approximately 40 minutes’ drive from the cabin, you’ll find Geilo, one of Norway’s premier ski destinations, perfect for families. Geilo offers slopes for all skill levels and features 4 terrain parks. In total, there are 21 lifts and 39 runs to explore.
