This townhouse is also the home to the Wesselengens Bataljon (Buekorps are traditional marching neighbourhood youth organizations in Bergen, Norway. The tradition is unique to Bergen. Fourteen different such battalions are active in Bergen, each belonging to a certain part of town.) Since the townhouse is in the city center, there are no private parking. Parking on street is available at 32kr/hr and can be paid via P i Bergen app or EasyPark Norway - zone 6004 in the app (free from 23:00 to 08:00 on normal days and Saturdays 17:00 until 08:00 on Mondays). It is made for visitors to park 2 hours at a time. If it is used longer than that, it needs to be renewed every 2 hours. For longer/cheaper parking, there are a few parking garages in the city for example (as of January 2024): - Bygarajen by the bus station for 250kr per day - Klostergarasjen for 280kr per day - GriegGarasjen is also 280kr per day They can all be paid via Sesam Sesam App or manually at the paying machines. - Bryggen P-Hus for 310kr per day (this is closest to the townhouse, 0600-midnight) This parking house can be paid via Apcoa Flow app or manually at the paying machines. There are many more parking garages in the city center that I didn't mention. It might be worth googling what is best suited for you and your family. The townhouse is located between within 7 minutes walk to the famous fish market and torgallmenningen, Bergenhus Fortress, 4 minutes walk to Fløibanen and Bryggen - conveniently right in the city center. Located a little walk up the mountain, here you are sheltered from the city and traffic noise but has views of city and the fjord. It is close to hiking areas in the city such as Fløyen and the popular Stoltzekleiven. Be prepared for a 10 minutes walk to this place from the city :)
