All of us attatced to Gjerdset Turistsenter are very found of the spectacular sorrundings. Many of our guest are visiting this area of that reason. We are happy to give advices.

Centrally located in a rural setting. Only 20 min to the center and grocery stores. Homely atmosphere.
Neighbourhood information
Gjerdset Turistsenter is only 18 kilometers away from Åndalsnes. Surrounded by the spectacular Romsdal mountains. Close to the bay and the famous salmon river Rauma that reopened in 2021. The turistsenter has a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, and is also very child friendly. We are an excellent starting point for day trips by foot, bicycle or by car. Close to the fantastic Trollstigen and a good starting point for day trips to Atlantic Road and Geiranger. The Turistsenter is only 20 min away from Åndalsnes; where you can find shopping centre, grocery stores, police, restaurants, gas stations etc...
