The cabin is located in the forest, it has a view of the mountains and the fjord. From the right side of the terrace you can walk to the fjord. There are two grills on the plot, one gas and the other wood-fired. When the weather is nice, you can have a nice time outside, and when the weather is bad, it's very cozy to light the fireplace and watch nature from the inside. The cottage is recently rented, first we plan to replace the windows with large ones so that guests can enjoy the beautiful views. At a later date, we plan to replace the kitchen, which is functional and well-equipped but not the newest. There is no electricity in the annex (the small bedroom next to the cabin). It is suitable for accommodation only in the summer. Inside the cabin there is a panel oven and a wood-burning fireplace - you have to heat up the cabin yourself when you arrive. In summer it is usually a comfortable temperature inside the cabin, but in winter you have to expect cold before you fire up the cabin. In winter, depending on the amount of snow, access to the cottage itself may be difficult. Getting there in the summer is not a problem.

The Atlantic Road is approximately 15 km from the cottage. The Atlantic Road is known as the "road in the sea" and is referred to as the world's most beautiful road trip. The whole Averøy is a beautiful place to visit. You can also go to Kristiansund which is a nice town near Averøy and the bridge over Bergsøy, Krifast. A place worth visiting is also the beach called Farstadsanden. There are also beautiful mountains in the vicinity of the cottage, one of them is Gulltanna, or Mekknøken.
