This is a compact yet extremely practical home that is located in a quiet cul-de-sac close to the golf course and a short walk to the central village. Capturing all day sun, this home has views of the mountains and features a private outdoor entertaining area with barbeque. The homeowners take great pride in their home and have kept functionality in mind for their guests. The log fire heats the whole home with ease. The open plan living/kitchen and dining area provides space for the whole family, whether it's a quiet corner to read a book, the dining table for games night or you just wish to relax and watch TV. The home also offers unlimited Wi-Fi, the kids will definitely be happy with that. The home has three bedrooms - two bedrooms with queen sized beds and the third with two singles. Hanmer Springs is a lovely small village set in an alpine environment on the edge of the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The village is located at an altitude of approximately 400 metres (1300 feet). This provides a crisp clear climate, with snow falling during winter on several occasions. The geothermal nature of the area has provided the beautiful Thermal Springs Reserve in which to relax, and it is second to none other in New Zealand. The combination of the colder climate and the thermal pools normally sitting at 25-42 degrees Celsius, or 77-18 degrees Fahrenheit is both invigorating and relaxing. The lucky guests get to soak in the thermal pools when it is snowing (for no extra charge) - how lucky are they?
