As the property has unfenced access to the main road and train tracks, adults are encouraged to closely supervise young children while note due to the proximity of the train tracks and port, some times of the day can be note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year. After the 1931 earthquake, Napier was beautifully rebuilt in distinct Art Deco style architecture, making it the Art Deco hub of New Zealand.
