About the property: This freshly renovated two-bedroom upstairs flat is thoughtfully designed for your weekend getaway or recharging between trips or escape for a holiday in Wellington. The living area is light-filled and serene, with large windows that open to soft skies and a peaceful outlook. Step onto the east-facing deck with your morning coffee and watch cloud drift gently by or enjoy the soft pink glow of sunset in the evening. Inside, you'll find a cosy sofa, dining table, smart TV with Netflix, YouTube premium and Disney+, plus a small section of children's books, games and toys - making it a relaxing space for the whole family. The main bedroom offers a queen bed, providing a restful space for parents to unwind after a day of adventure. The second bedroom features a sturdy bunk bed, perfect for siblings or little ones. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a new oven, dishwasher, microwave, and all essentials you'd expect at home. Coffee lovers will enjoy the choice between a Nespresso machine and a plunger, complete with local brand coffee to start your day. The kitchen is separated from the living area, ensuring cooking smells and sounds stay out of your relaxing sleeps. The bathroom includes a full-size bathtub ideal for bathing little ones, or for your relaxing bath after a day out, with shower from main pressure hot water cylinder. There are washing machine, laundry tub and external clothesline if you have laundry need. On-premises parking is available for one vehicle on the concrete car pad; free street parking is also available. Parking on the wooden deck is not permitted. Please note the flat is upstairs one and has a fully fenced deck/balcony to an elevated view. While we're welcoming family with kids, parents must supervise their kids at all times especially around the deck, bridged entrance and fire escape during the stay. By booking with us, you agree to be fully responsible for your children's safety during the stay.

Designed with comfort and calm in mind, this modern space is perfect for families or travellers seeking a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, yet close to the city. Whether you're unwinding on the deck or recharging between adventures, Cloud Catcher offers a restful stay above it all. I have been travelling around New Zealand in the last 8 years and experienced multiple types of accommodations across countries. While I love enjoying beautiful nature, sightseeing, trekking and beach, I always choose the stay with comfort to relax after a day and available essential for cooking (i.e. while on budget). About the Neighbourhood: You'll be perfectly placed to enjoy the best of Northern Wellington. Just a short walk away is the brand-new Waitohi Library building, where you can take your children to the swimming pool as a facility within the same building, or enjoy reading time in the library, and complete by a coffee with some sweet treats in the ground floor cafe. Local dining options include 1841, a cosy family-friendly bar & restaurant known for warm service and delicious dishes like Railway Ribs or Frankmoore Fish to name a few. A selection of casual restaurants and takeaways are also just minutes away, whether you're walking or driving. Johnsonville also offers two Woolworths, a shopping mall, several local parks, making it a convenient base for both short and longer stays. If you like gym, there are 24/7 Fitness and City Fitness nearby, just 5 min drive. Need to head into town? The No.1 bus stop is a 2-minute walk away, offering frequent service to Lambton Quay or Willis street - perfect for a city day trip either to museums (Cable Car, Wellington Museum or Te Papa), Botanic Garden, shopping or eating out without the hassle of parking.
