Kotare Ridge is a new studio apartment at the north end with lovely views over the ocean and next to a scenic reserve. The beach and surf club are a few minutes walk away, as are numerous bush walks and the tennis courts. The apartment is light and spacious with a kitchenette, and private patio with table and chairs.
There are many cafes and restaurants within walking distance or a five minute drive.
Kotare Ridge is on a quiet road, but the sound of the waves is a constant reminder that you are only 300 metres from the coast. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets can be seen from the apartment, across the ocean.
There is a frig and microwave in the apartment, as well as an electric jug, toaster, crockery and cutlery. Bath and beach towels, and a hair dryer are provided. The bed is a king size but can be two singles.

Guests have their own access to the apartment, and an outside patio for their own use.
Interaction with guests
We are happy to offer any assistance guests may require. We are familiar with the walks in the area, either along the coast or the many bush walks in the vicinity.
Waihi Beach has a small village with a range of shops including a chemist, small supermarket, butcher, bakery, laundry, hardware and sports stores. There is also a doctor's surgery in the village. The Hauraki Rail Trail is fifteen minutes drive away, Hobbiton 1 1/2 hours, and Rotorua and Auckland can be reached in two hours. There are hot pools nearby, and guests can also use the swimming pool at the Holiday Park next door.

There is no public transport in the area, so a car is necessary.
