Welcome to La Casita Waiheke. The Studio is located in Central Oneroa, Waiheke Island. It is close to the iconic Mud Brick vineyard; fantastic for weddings and Cable Bay vineyard and only minutes of easy walking to Oneroa Village with its vibrant restaurants and cafes. Convenient and yet private; it overlooks a valley with a stream. It has a bridge and a delightful summerhouse in the garden.you are welcome to enjoy a peaceful evening drink there after exploring the Island. Fully furnished with a private entrance and courtyard on the ground floor, La Casita Waiheke has an impressive new walk-in shower; a king-size bed and a comfortable sofa. Enjoy tea or a coffee in your courtyard area or wander across the bridge to the garden summerhouse (la Casita). The European summerhouse is recently built; constructed of Siberian larch and planted out with roses and a cottage country garden. The Studio is ideally located to enjoy the moorings in Blackpool Bay with wading birds like godwit or dotterels; and 300 metres to the golden sands of Oneroa Beach and Little O beach. On the way enjoy a glass of wine at the Oyster Inn for oysters or Fenices for an Italian pizza. The village is always buzzing with local art from the Art gallery and artists installations and performances at Artworks. Where nature meets inspiration and community. .

I am a Kiwi who has fallen in love with Waiheke; the natural beauty of this Island and the community here. II have travelled widely and enjoy sailing, swimming and walking our coastal and bush paths. I have built a home and a garden on this beautiful Island. I would love to share my favourite places with you.

Our road is a quiet residential road ten minutes from the centre of Oneroa. The valley has mature natives, oaks, flame and eucalyptus trees and wandering waterfowl like ducks and pukeko. There are bus stops for the regular Waiheke public bus service at the top and bottom of the street. These buses meet the ferry at Matiatia and link Oneroa to Rocky Bay, Palm Beach and Onetangi Beach. We recommend a visit to Mud Brick vineyard and Cable Bay for their wines, a lazy lunch and as an end of day sun- downer. Mud brick is world famous as a wedding venue and an easy 20 minute walk from La Casita.
