Matapouri Cottage is a 3 bedroom Matapouri holiday home in the beautiful Tutukaka Coast! This Matapouri holiday home is a light and comfortable base for your next Northland holiday, with easy outdoor living for making the most of summer! Dine outdoors, sunbathe on the deck, enjoy a friendly game of sport in the private garden... Or, take an easy stroll to the beach for a day at the gorgeous Matapouri Bay! There is sleeping for up to 5 adults and 2 children at this Matapouri accommodation. Bedroom 1 is fitted with a queen bed, bedroom 2 with a double bed, and bedroom 3 with 1 single bunk set plus 1 single bed. There is an additional sofa bed in the alcove of the living area. When you are not admiring the blissful beach just moments from your doorstep, chill out at home with a cold drink and a BBQ! With a great selection of DVDs and books available for any indoor days, or journey out to explore the region. For the keen surfer, head up to Sandy Bay just 20 minutes drive away. For those that enjoy a walk or two, Tutukaka Head offers some fantastic walking tracks! For a refreshing escape... Relax, unwind, and recharge your batteries at Matapouri Cottage! A 10-minute drive from Tutukaka or a 2 hour 25 minute drive from Auckland and you'll find yourself in the marine paradise that is Matapouri. Matapouri is one of those idyllic spots, where every corner you turn you'll find yourself in awe as you stumble upon another azure blue cove lined with Pohutukawa or golden dunes. There's much to explore with Whale Bay nearby being accessed via a 15 minute bush walk, and of course the legendary mermaid pools a large natural set of rock pools set against the ocean perfect for swimming in at low tide.
