This property is ideal if you just want a night or 2 while waiting to catch your ferry or needing a place to sleep after arriving from Wellington for the night. 24/7 hour check in. Staying On a hill with a nice veiw of surrounding area .The property has a deck enjoy the views of the hills and overlooking picton and a small part of the sounds.Room has small fridge,set of drawers,wardrobe smart tv and double bed.There is free coffee/tea and milk and breakfast cereal available if needed.Free wifi. Ask host for password please. Short walk to town 20 minutes or there is a .G.a.s. Station 5 minutes walk that supplies everything you may need, and a Dairy and Tavern close by. FREE PARKING on street in front of property. Always plenty of parking.This is a clean tidy 2 bedroom unit shared with host that owns the property.Its nothing flashy which is reflected in the price of accomadation but it is somewhere to rest for a while. You can smoke/vape but not inside home outside only on deck or surrounding areas. You can use the washing machine for FREE but no dryer available. No alcohol or drugs allowed on site.

I work locally in Picton on the ferries and have just brought this property in beautiful Picton. Im from southland NZ originally and I like to meet new people go travelling and enjoying shopping and driving. Also like to go for walks locally and a dip in the sounds from time to time on hot days. Im also into riding my new klr650 having just got my learners licence. Picton is close to really nice places to ride to like nearby Portage or anikiwa, Havelock ,Blenheim rai valley even nelson if you have the time or go the other way to kaikoura. Host do not drink smoke or do drugs so that is why there is no alcohol or drugs allowed on-site.

Quiet street.There is a train line nearby but the train is only a couple times a day and it doesnt bother me.Havent seen the neighbours park yet so there is always a park or 7 available for your car,boat van bus, on the street. It is a no exit street so hardly any cars come up it at all.The area is quiet and no loud noise from parties from anybody.
