Tui Ridge is located a short distance of State Highway 2 between Katikati and Tauranga. The property has a long gravel driveway and 3 of the cabins are located amongst a kiwifruit orchard. We are eco friendly with our main source of energy being solar power. This means our cabins have 12 volt lighting and some charging for phones only. There is no heating or air conditioning Cabins are only suitable for 2 guests max (this includes children) It is very important to read your booking confirmation via BC messaging for the gate code The entire property is smoke free - this due to the extreme fire risk DAMAGE - if any damage occurs (this includes stains to soft furnishings) please expect to be charged for it Please contact us for any booking requests or for further information - we prefer direct bookings on tuiridge

We live onsite and like to spend time with our animals and working in our garden. We grow our own vegetables and fruit which is shared with guests when in season. Our property has chickens, 1 cat, 2 horses and a friendly dog called Pip that likes to greet guests on arrival, if you are not comfortable around dogs this place probably isn't the best place for you.

With a backdrop of the Kaimai Ranges there is lots of short walks and tramps within a 10 minute drive. Close by also is waterfalls, water swimming pools and giant Kauri trees. Lots of harbour access to launch small boats and safe swimming is also within a short drive. We are a easy 2 hour drive from Auckland airport. The beautiful Coromandel is within driving distance. Rotorua is just over an hour drive away and Hobbiton is also close by.
