Whitimanuka Retreat is an architecturally designed escape for two tucked against 18ha of native bush in the middle of our 7th generation working farm. Warm timber interiors, luxurious fabrics and uncluttered styling. This is your private getaway - explore the designated walking tracks or simply relax and enjoy the spectacular views. It's your choice.
Please note;
- Access is via a gravel road.
- Meals are available and include; 2 salads, fresh bread, your choice of lamb or beef to be cooked on the BBQ (vegetarian and vegan options available) followed by dessert. A platter to share is also available.
- We are proud to be wheelchair friendly.
Whitimanuka Retreat is designed for self check-in and for your privacy. If you need us during your stay, we are just a phone call away.
Whitimanuka Retreat is located in the middle of our working sheep, beef and cropping farm. It has its own private setting away from busy farming activities but you may witness animals being shifted in the distance from the privacy of the retreat. Stonehenge Aotearoa is a short 3 minute drive up Ponatahi Road and the Martinborough wine village is approximately 8 mins drive away. A day trip to the south coast to see the Putangirua Pinnacles (where scenes of Lord of the Rings was filmed), the Cape Palliser lighthouse, seal colonies and the Ngawi fishing village is a great outing.
