Our Cozy Beach House is a beautiful, newly renovated traditional Azorean home, just steps from the beach and municipal outdoor pools of Ribeira Grande. Our stylish home is outfitted with our guest's comfort in mind. Guests have the entire fully equipped home all to themselves, and we provide all towels, toiletries and linens, as well as access to a washing machine if guests wish to use it during their stay. There is highspeed wi-fi in all areas of the house. Here you will find a home away from home, where you can relax after a day of exploring the many sights and attractions that Sao Miguel has to offer. Our home is ideally located in the centre of the island, 20 min from downtown Ponta Delgada, 20 min from Lagoa do Fogo, and 25 min from Furnas. After a day of exploring, guests can relax on our patio, have a drink on our outdoor lounge area, and make their own bbq on the charcoal grill.
Kevin and Giuliana are a young couple with a passion for travel, customer service and hospitality. With more than 20 years combined experience in the travel and tourism industry, we pride ourselves on offering our guests a relaxing place to call home during their visit to beautiful Sao Miguel. We are avid travellers and explorers, and know the island very well, so if guests have any questions or need recomendations, please do not hesitate to ask us, and it will be our pleasure to help out. We are also fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese!
The town of Ribeira Grande, where our home is located, is one of the liveliest towns on the island. Within walking distance of Cozy Beach House you will find many restaurants, stores, cafes, bars, and beaches. Also known as the surfing centre of the island, the famous beach of Santa Barbara where surfers gather every day, all year round to practice surfing, is situated just 5 minutes by car. And a 15 minute drive will take you to the breathtaking Lagoa do Fogo, as well as the famous hot springs of Caldeira Velha.
