In the apartment there are two private bedrooms, a pull out sofa bed available in the living room and a full bathroom with newly renovated shower. The kitchen is fully equipped.

Throughout the years, we have taken much pride in our home and renovated this property from a small house to the multi-level property it is today. After our children immigrated to the United States, our home became too big for just the two of us, therefore, we now share our pride and joy with those wishing to visit this beautiful island. As the name suggests, “Corner of the Island,” our property is located in a prime location that allows access to all of São Miguel’s most sought out attractions. The property is easy to locate as it is directly across from the iconic Sao Bras Church. There are 3 restaurants located just a 2-3 min drive from the property, as well as coffee shops and a mini-market for all of your essential needs. São Miguel is an island of many beautiful attractions and breathtaking views. The property is in a prime location in the municipality of Ribeira Grande. Just a 15 min drive from the property to Ribeira Grande, you will access many dining locations, shopping, and the Continente Supermarket. On the drive, make sure to stop by multiple viewpoints (miradouros) to experience beautiful points of the island and great photo sites. The tea plantations are just 5 min from the property and Furnas, the center of the island's geometric activity, is just 15 min away. Beaches are just a 10 min drive (Praia dos Moinhos).
