Property information

This newly renovated, modern one bedroom apartment is located in the heart of the popular tourist area of Lido, with it's wide choice of restaurants, bars, shops and swimming areas all within a short walk. It is equipped with all the basics you'll need for your stay when not out exploring the island. The sunny communal rooftop pool offers beautiful views of the Atlantic and is the perfect spot to kick back and relax on days off from your island adventures. Private parking included.

Neighbourhood information

The apartment is located in the newer, modern part of Funchal in the tourist area of Lido. It's easy to get into the older part of town by bus (15 minutes) or car (10 minutes). There are many cafés and restaurants in the area. The property is centrally located with various cafés and restaurants and you can easily explore the surrounding area on foot. If you choose to hire a car, there is an underground parking space available. Public parking throughout Funchal is paid - use the pay stations to pre-pay and display the ticket on your dashboard. There are regular inspections by the police and fines are given if you go over the time shown on your ticket. Bolt is widely used in Funchal (there is no Uber). Parking spaces marked "M" are for residents with permits and these should not be used. The yellow city busses are really reliable and easy to use and there is a bus stop nearby.
