Welcome to Casa Santo Antonio! This beautiful home perched on the sea wall of Port do Sao Mateus provides panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Monte Brazil and the bay of parish of Sao Mateus. My parents immigrated to Canada in 1974 when I was a little girl and then I married and immigrated again to the USA. The life of an immigrant is one of adventure but I'm privileged to still have a home and roots here. Enjoy!

This lively little fishing port home boasts the best dinning on the Island, night life, wale museum, grocery,coffee, gift shop, church, ice cream parlor, pier fishing, and swimming in ocean water. This beautiful historic home, has been completely remodeled with all the modern amenities. It is located on an old world fishing port and surrounded by spectacular views. Very private, secure, and decorated with hand painted tile art. It is elegance in it's finest form. Restaurants, festivals, bars, cafes, small grocery stores, swimming, fishing and more. are all a short walk away. You will notice, that at all times, you can look in any direction and you will see where the earth meets the sky. You will also notice, how this view changes throughout the day. But what I find the most thrilling are the rainbows, that stretch across the Island sky, from end to end.

This is a fishing village and from the many balconies on this property you can watch as they come and go with their catch of the day that served fresh (really fresh) at any of the restaurants in Sao Mateus. My personal favorite is located right on this little bay called Beira Mar. My family has lived in this parish for many generations and many of them are our neighbors.
