Quinta do Scoto is an historic property forming part of the heritage of the Country, with close association with the Marquis de Pombal and many of the Portuguese aristocracy.
Set in a village with local traditional and inexpensive restaurants and friendly villagers. This is not a tourist area so is quiet and away from the boisterous and expensive alternatives, yet with excellent public transport and road links many attractions are 10 - 15 minutes away. The local train station is 10 minutes walk away with journey costs into Sintra or Lisbon less than two euros.
