Easy access for hiking, cycling, or driving gravel, cobbled, and paved back roads that lead to endless discoveries of churches, parks, vineyards, Roman ruins, cafes, and small villages. Meet your hosts, John and Larissa, and their loyal cattle dog, Marley. After making the move from California in 2023, they're loving their new life in Portugal. Quinta Escondida is nestled off a cobbled street in the quiet, charming parish of Avessadas. The property is bounded by a creek and lush trees that provide total privacy. We are located just off of N210, 15 minutes to the city center of Marco de Canaveses. Local attractions include the Roman ruins of Tongobriga, the Tamega and Douro rivers, the beautiful city of Amarante, and countless wineries, churches, and historic villages.
