Just a 15-minute drive away, you will find refreshing natural attractions such as the Alge river mouth on the Zêzere river with various water sports, the Ana de Aviz river beach, or the mythical Fragas de São Simão, its walkways, and the Schist Village of Casal de São Simão. Enjoy the various local restaurants in the center of Figueiró dos Vinhos, or try the incomparable black pork bifana at Restaurante D. Maria, the gastronomic signature of the region. The advantage of being in the center is that we are equidistant from the major landmarks of the country. The Templar city of Tomar is 30 minutes away, as is the academic city of Coimbra. The capital, Lisbon, is an hour and a half away, and so is the northern capital, Porto. Less than an hour away is also the city of Fátima with its sanctuary for a spiritual visit.
