Our Madeira was established in 2009 by Linda & Ricardo Dias. We have both worked in tourism all our lives, the great majority of which in Madeira, where we live (and where Ricardo hails from). We know how important it is to find the right holiday home for your holiday, and searching through the many websites can be exhausting, time-consuming, and confusing. And of course, you want to make sure you are dealing with a dependable company. Our commitment is to provide a unique, personal service, using our in-depth knowledge of Madeira (our island home) and of all the villas and apartments we feature, to assist you in making the right holiday rental choice. For some of the properties, we just handle the reservations on the owner's behalf, but for others, we take care of the cleaning and maintenance, and we will be there to greet you on arrival at the villa. All the properties are known to us personally. Between us, we have over 60 years of experience in tourism, so we like to think we know what we’re doing! Our wonderful and dedicated team also come from many different areas of Tourism and bring with them a wealth of knowledge and customer care. Together, we strive to ensure our guests have a wonderful holiday in Madeira.

SISTER PROPERTY TO VILLA DO MAR I, VILLA DO MAR III AND COTTAGE DO MAR The owner has decorated the Villa in lovely colours that reflect the old fishing cottages of Madeira. The living area is full of light and has full length sliding windowpanes that provide full and direct sea-views and leads to the swimming pool terrace. In addition to the sitting and dining areas, you will find a delightfully decorated open plan kitchen and separate barbecue. The Master Bedroom with en-suite bathroom is on the first floor; the second bedroom is below it and has next to it the family bathroom. The third bedroom and en-suite bathroom is in the loft of what was the barn, and is reached via a separate set of steps. The living area and all the bedrooms have air-conditioning. There is free Wi-Fi connection throughout the Villa. The Villa is secluded and very private and off the beaten track. The whole house and grounds is perched on the edge of land, only 30 metres above the pebble beach, and affords astounding views - you feel as one with the ocean.

A few minutes by car will take you to the resort town of Calheta, which, with its man-made golden beaches, is popular with tourists and locals alike. There is a beautiful marina and a good choice of bars and restaurants. There is a handful of boutique shops and a good supermarket. Calheta is famous for producing the best white rum ‘Aguardente’, a special ingredient of the typical Madeiran drink ‘Poncha’. If you are interested in knowing how the white rum is made, we recommend a tour of the ‘Engenho da Calheta’ the rum distillery where you can wander around and sample the produce. Centro das Artes Casa da Mudas is a new centre located at the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea and was built to host superb art exhibitions, musical performances and other events. Madeira is a paradise for those who enjoy walking and hiking, and Arco da Calheta is ideally situated, having easy access to the road network and most places on the island. Within 15 minutes are the beaches at Ponta do Sol and Ribeira Brava, the esplanades at Jardim do Mar and Paul do Mar, the laurasilva forest of Madeira and the moonlike landscape of Paul da Serra.
