Honoured by Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi, one of the holiest mosques in Islam, Medina is the 2nd most important Islamic pilgrimage site after Mecca. Surrounded by hills that have seen hundreds of people seek refuge in its oasis, this city has developed a range of modern facilities to host the pilgrims from all over the world.
Formerly named Yathrib, the city is also known as Madīnat an-Nabiy or ‘Prophet’s City’, and it’s also known as Al-Madīnat(u) 'l-Munawwarah or ‘Radiant City’. The Prophet Muhammad came to the city in the 7th century, seeking refuge from his opponents. According to Muslim theology, the last chapters of the Quran were revealed to him here.
The site where the Prophet lived is now occupied by the Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi or ‘Prophet’s Mosque’. Although the mosque has changed and expanded over the years, the green dome is part of the original sanctuary.
Places like the Masjid Quba mosque, the Masjid Al-Qiblatain mosque and the Al-Baqi Cemetery also represent important holy sites in Medina.
Whether you arrive directly at Medina’s Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport or come from Mecca or Riyadh, check out the accommodation deals on Booking.com before travelling.

Medina is a great holy place to visit.
Medina is a great holy place to visit. The weather is mostly pleasure throughout out the year (summer afternoons can be quite hot). One can really feel the relaxation in the atmosphere of Medina, especially in the Prophet's Mosque (PBUH).

As a Muslim MADINA lives in my heart and soul, I visit here at least 2-3 times a year and definitely in last 10-11 days of Ramadan since last 25 years minus 2 years when it was closed in 2019 & 2020 I believe because of Pandemic.
It’s the place where I want to live a die in feet’s of HAZRAT MOHAMMAD SAWW PEACE BE UPON HIM.

Location is good.
Location is good.
Room was not prepared; had to complain and to get it ready (issues with light, plumbing).
Breakfast items are almost the same everyday. Had the same soup for 10 days.
I will still stay here next time because of location.
Every thing was great as: staff, room, there is a shuttle bus every pray time, wifi, the smell of the reception sooo good so good بخور mashallah, Al madinah itself so nice and safe place, thank you to every one, I like my stay over there.
“Arwa front desk girl” She is so nice and polite mashallah and the other guy he Helped me, I’m sorry not remember the names. But really every one from the staff over there was so nice and helpful and friendly.
اللهم صل و سلم علي محمد و آل و صحبه و سلم
Everything. Definitely the perfect hotel with excellent staff. The hotel is the best in Madinah probably the best in ksa. The staff was so so hospitable and kind. They made our stay the best. The manager Mr Imran was so so helpful and truly an excellent manager. Ms Sara on the front desk reception a lovely lady with the best customer service. Mr Samir in the Mugal resturant so kind and considerate.
The hotel itself is so so clean. The service is the best.
Highly recommended.
I used to come to this hotel with my family when I was young whenever we visit Madinah and 10 years later I stay here as a solo traveller and I am amazed at how this hotel is still the best. Spotless clean, amazing interiors , lovely staff and perfect location. Breakfast was really really good and the restaurant overlooks the haram. Seriously I am glad I didn't book at another hotel and came back to madinah hilton and will definitely be back again
One of my best experiences in a hotel especially as a woman traveling alone.
I felt very safe and the setting is nice, it's a new hotel and very well equipped, clean and the staff is really helpful.
The room is spacious with everything you need.
It is not very far from alharam (uber 9 rial saudi).
I recommend it 100%.
جزاكم الله خيرا
The breakfast was very high quality and delicious. Best meal I had in Saudi. The location is perfect, and I would say it’s actually the best location compared to all of the other hotels in the area. Very close access to the Rawda entrance. Clean, modern, comfortable rooms. Excellent value
Staff was amazing, receptionist AbdulRahman was great , he really looked after his guests. He upgraded us to executive room.
We stayed on 13th floor, service men Javed & Kashem was amazing too.
They serviced our daily
Whole experience was amazing. I will stay again in Saja Al Madinah.
Overall it was a nice experience ,new hotel staff are very helpful, walking distance of 10min walk but not recommend to walk during summer better to get a taxi or Uber for 15 to 20 Saudi Ryal, free underground free parking everything was perfect except breakfast was very average.
The hotel location is good due to nearby to Masjid Nabawi and small shopping activities in surrounding areas. If yu adventure enough, the buggy services route to Masjid Quba is another alternative for your shopping and feels traditional the more real Madinah's environments.
Hotel is just 5 to 6 minutes’ walk away from Haram (Mosque) Main door, So Location is Perfect.
Comfort and Cleanness is exceptional. Room service was perfect.
The Best place and Hotel to stay if you are visiting Madinah.

The LOCATION is awesome, room size is a little bit small but adjusted, I had with my family with 4 members, overall we satisfied and good return from the money.
I advised, must stay in Movenpick Anwar al Madinah Hotel.
The hotel was great, staff was co-operative, location was good and close by to the place I want. So it was a good stay and would definitely love going back as/when traveling to Saudi Arabia in future.
