We love to chat with our guests and learn about their cultures and countries, and we will gladly share our favorite spots of interests with you and yours. Ask us questions about the surroundings and we'll always try to do our best to answer them! We are a family of very creative people; artists, designers, gardeners and sculptors and we also enjoy the outdoors like hiking and beach life.

Welcome to stay at our lovely Mellby 11 B&B! This is a family owned business and our passions include art, gardening, yoga, delicious food and healthy living! At our place, you will be greeted by either Ewa, Kajsa or Rolf. Ewa is our wonderful cook, she creates a variety of healthy goodies every day at breakfast for you to enjoy. Fresh baked bread is picked up from the village bakery and we hope you'll enjoy a fresh smoothie or juice shot served by Kajsa, the artist and health coach, in the garden. Our beautiful garden is where you can find a cozy place to sit and relax in the sun before you go out and explore the beautiful surroundings of Kivik and beyond. We also have a brand new art gallery in our building. Rolf is the art director and will gladly give you an art tour in Gallery No 11 where we show contemporary art by different artists on a regular basis. The 4 rooms are located in a building from 1936,three of the rooms share entryway/frontdoor and one is located in the other end of the B&B, with it's own entryway/frontdoor. The Blue Room (Blå Rummet) is located next to the breakfast room,in order to get to the shared bathroom,the guest will walk through the breakfast-room.

Right outside our B&B is a bus-stop, and you can easily get to both Simrishamn, Ystad, Malmö or even Copenhagen from here. The wonderful beach at Stenshuvud National Park is one of our favorites by far! It's only 5 minutes away by car and about 25 minutes by foot. Kiviks Musteri is located in the middle of the "apple kingdom" here in Kivik, and you can sample and buy juice and other delicious local treats. Go down to the little charming harbor for a fish lunch at the popular fish restaurant, or have your children play at the playground right by the beach and pier! Right next door, you'll find a fun shop as well as an arts & crafts showroom and store.
