Småland's largest cabin village, open year-round! Warm welcome to Resort Yxenhaga, located in the Småland forests just outside Hok. We offer 78 furnished cabins in various sizes, equipped with everything you might need for self-catering. The cabin area is situated on a hillside with proximity to forest and nature, as well as a beautiful view over Härån. Resort Yxenhaga is more than just a cabin village – it’s a place where you can feel at home, yet still away. With us, you can find peace and experience all the seasons of nature. Our cabins are perfect for solo travelers, couples, families, or groups. We also offer pet-friendly cabins. Our concept is based on self-catering, the reception is managed remotely, and we have self-check-in for a smooth stay. We are always available via email and on our social media, and we also have our handyman and cleaner available on-site, who are happy to assist if needed.
We have been running this cabin village since 2018 and have welcomed guests from many different countries. Our vision is to provide a cozy cabin where you can create memories and enjoy the peaceful nature in the heart of Småland.
There are several ways to reach Resort Yxenhaga. It is advantageous to have a car with you when you visit us. The nearest grocery store is about 17 km away, and there is much to explore in the surrounding area if you have access to a car during your stay. However, there are now buses that run daily to and from Jönköping, so it’s also possible to reach us by public transportation! We are conveniently located in the southern part of Sweden, making it very easy to reach us. Resort Yxenhaga is found 45 km from Jönköping, 190 km from Gothenburg, 370 km from Stockholm, and 260 km from Malmö. On your way to us, you can take the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Småland countryside and all its lovely nature. In the nearby area you can find several tourist attractions that we recommend: - High Chaparral 48 km away - Astrid Lindgrens Värld 130 km away - Gränna 80 km away - Skullaryd Moose Park 78 km away - Miliseum 22 km away
