The property, built in the 19th century, offers various whimsical nooks, spaces, and terraces for you to enjoy. For bigger families or groups of friends, we recommend booking our ''OLD LADY'' holiday home. This building is separated from the other building and has its own entrance. The house itself presents itself as a special accommodation that just shines its own story. Our guests can use 4 different spacious bedrooms with new mattresses and bedding. A large kitchen, and huge living room, dining space, and a terrace complete with a barbecue. Additionally, a wine fridge stocked with Herga wines awaits your enjoyment (when in Rome... or at a vineyard estate) – you pay for what you consume. Outside, a gorgeous view of our vineyard unfolds, inviting you to bask in peace and quiet. We are Lenart and Anja and we are seasoned wine experts and hobby wine tasters. :) Driven by a true joy for life, a passion for vineyards, and a hedonistic approach to collecting moments, both of us are committed to sharing our enthusiasm with you. Lenart went from playing professional basketball to studying bio-chemistry to becoming head sommelier in a restaurant with two Michelin stars. Anja went from traveling and living abroad to a career in an advertising agency & radio station to changing her focus to hospitality. We found common happiness in going on road trips, exploring interesting wine cellars, meeting various kinds and interesting people, savoring local cuisine and just enjoying the freedom of that day. As the head sommelier of a prestigious Slovenian restaurant with two Michelin stars until this April, his dedication to the craft is unmatched, and past guests would undoubtedly attest to that. A tasting session at the estate among the vineyards provides a great opportunity to open his book of wine knowledge in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Within a 30-minute drive radius, you'll find a plethora of interesting attractions, including several different thermal spas, golf courses, and historic sights to explore. We will happily offer you personalized recommendations for daily excursions in our region or across Slovenia, including hidden gems accessible by bicycle or e-bike.
