Property info

The Žigon Bed & Breakfast stands at the edge of the plain of Planina, through which the world-renowned Unica River flows. From May 1st through November 30th, the official fishing season, the Žigon b&b is frequently the gathering place of dry-fly fishermen, who come to this corner of Slovenia from around the world.

Neighborhood info

Less than 50 km. from Trieste, on the old Ljubljana – Postojna road, between the villages of Kalce and Planina lies the tiny village of Grčarevec. At its centre stands the small church of Saint Luke, and next to it the house of the Žigon family, where they have operated a country inn since 1980.
