The Moonrakers is truly beachfront, the photographs show that & there are very few places in Samui that offer such amazing views or where you can walk from your bedroom to the sea in a matter of a few paces. Restaurants & bars are very close by.
Originally from London I have lived & worked in Koh Samui for 14 years. Before the Moonrakers I owned a bungalow resort also in Maenam. I love the beach and enjoy watersports, particularly wakeboarding. I love animals and have 3 dogs & 2 cats
Maenam is still very quiet, but there are no shortage of fantastic restaurants and bars serving cuisine from all over the world as well as traditional Thai fare. There are many activities along the beach, including a kite surfing school next door.
