Relocating to Koh Samui from Cirencester, UK, in 2005, David's love affair with Thailand began in 1990, with Koh Samui emerging as his favoured destination. Motivated by the prospect of a new business venture, he made the bold decision to establish a thriving rental enterprise on the island. With a background in Cirencester's flooring business, coupled with extensive involvement in property development and rental, David's passion for creating diverse properties flourished in the UK. Seeking a fresh challenge, the allure of Koh Samui became irresistible. Since his move, David has successfully crafted 15 properties, including 11 luxurious villas available for rental. Ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms, each villa boasts its own private swimming pool, with four offering breathtaking ocean views, all designed in unique and tropical styles. Notably, our flagship Villa Moonstone, a source of great pride, reached completion in January 2020. The Villa is for 2 persons, one of three villas, set on a magnificent parcel of land, covered in granite boulders and swaying coconut trees. Villa Sapphire has an exotic open tropical style Living area. Positioned in centre of Living area is a jetted plunge pool, with seating area. Relax here & enjoy magnificent views, with the opportunity to watch a movie under the stars on the SMART 65 inch TV with Netflix, YouTube etc. Leading from Living area, is small lotus pond, through to lovely, Infinity edge, salt water swimming pool, with sun deck, sun beds, parasol and outstanding ocean views. Built-in barbecue by poolside. Enjoy a barbecue dinner at the villa, with the backdrop of the twinkling lights of the fishing boats out at sea. Rain shower at the pool. Colourful tropical flowers and plants beautifully set around the edge of the Living area. Villa Sapphire is for couples wishing a romantic and exotic setting, with spectacular ocean views to the islands and mainland over 20 km away. Within 5-10 min drive from the Villa is the charming area of Laem Sett. Here is local Laem Sett beach, quiet and secluded, in a natural and unspoiled area. Located on the beach is popular Thai style Cool Bar where you can enjoy food and drinks whilst soaking up the tranquil atmosphere. There is also Paw Paw Restaurant. Close by is Shasa Resort and Centara Villas Resort which open their doors to non residents, with many facilities to enjoy, including smart restaurants and bars. Less than 10 min by car is the fishing village of Baan Hua Thanon where fresh fish, fruit and vegetables are sold at the local market and home of several small local shops, cafes, doctor's surgery, 24 hour Seven-Eleven grocery shop with ATM and Chinese Temple. Only 10 minutes away is Lamai beach with excellent restaurants and water sports along the beach. Many of the island's main attractions are less than a 10-minute drive from the villa. Please note: All our cars are insured, with the guest being responsible, and limited, for the first 20,000 Baht of any damage. No insurance on mopeds where the guest pays for any damage incurred. It is the guests' responsibility to ensure that they also have their own comprehensive Travel & Health Insurance, and appropriate driving documentation for Thailand. All our vehicles will have a full tank of petrol for you. Please ensure that you return the vehicle at the end of your stay with a full tank. No 'off-roading' or driving in harsh terrain. Lotus's Superstore and also the large food supermarket, Makro, both located in Lamai, are only a 12 min drive from the villa. You will also find a number of 24 hour smaller convenience stores of 7-Eleven on the island. Nowhere on the island is more than 45 minutes drive away.
