Zanzibar Spice Nest Apartment is a beautifully decorated big and spacious two bedroom apartment right in the heart of UNESCO heritage Stone Town area. The apartment has been furnished and decorated using modern and local Swahili culture traditional handicrafts. As you enter the apartment, the long and wide entrance leads you to locally sourced handmade wooden stairs which leads you to the long and spacious lounge living room with comfortable seating area. The living room has a smart TV with a selection of channels including Netflix. There is a turntable with a small selection of vinyls. Each room is private and spacious enough with it’s own bathroom and toilet. Adjacent to the living lounge area is the dining room and next to it is the kitchen which comes fully equipped with all facilities needed to prepare any necessary meals. The entire apartment has been well renovated and restored, preserving the original Swahili/Arab features including the locally sourced mikoko wooden beams. Zanzibar Spice Nest Apartment offers more than just an ordinary place to stay. It is a home away from home right in the heart of popular and famous Stone Town area, where all amenities like, shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, curio shops, local eateries, street food stalls, markets, pharmacies, Forodhani night street food market and the beautiful turquoise beaches are only a short walk away from the apartment.

The local Swahili and Arab culture is very much preserved and can be seen visually from the decor of the house ie doors and alleyways. Stone Town area is steep in culture and history dating back to the Arab slave trade in East Africa. The apartment is situated in great location whereby, all amenities like shops, restaurants, street food stalls, cafes, curio shops, historical sites and the beautiful turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean are only a stone throw away.
