Casita is a 1925 Spanish Revival on Ruffner Mountain in Birmingham's South East Lake neighborhood. She sports modern and antique furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen and rare architectural detail. Plush, well-dressed beds warm the body as the to-die-for front porch and rear deck warm the soul. You will love Casita! Driveway parking for two. Free street parking. Hi I am Tania. The first time my husband & I visited Birmingham, we fell in love with it. We have 2 boys. Suvir who just turned 13 loves Fortnite and Aekum -6 loves to play in the dirt. Our favorite thing to do is travel, and this past winter my husband and son took a boys trip to Abisko, roughly 200 km north of the Arctic Circle and watched the Northern Lights.
East Lake is one of Birmingham’s high-energy investment neighborhoods with many homes under renovation or waiting in the wings. Casita is located in a highly sought-after area of this largest of Birmingham’s 99 metropolitan districts. The area is culturally diverse, safe and metro-area quiet, with lots of families and children. It also shows the scars of decades of neglect. So, if your stay requires opulent surroundings, you might look elsewhere. We are rebuilding East Lake and rebuilding takes time.
