Great location in historic Sherman Hill! Directly west of Methodist hospital and up the hill from Hoyt Sherman Place and the Sculpture park. Walk to Smokey Row for your morning coffee or lunch. Several 1 and 2 bedroom apartments available. Stainless steel appliances. Large storage unit for each apartment. This historic district has several stores and restaurants, but Sherman Hill is best known for housing Hoyt Sherman Place, a 19th-century art gallery and performing arts theater. Friendly neighbors and city ordinances also contribute to the neighborhood's vibrancy. Maintaining a quaint charm of simpler times, neighbors here are tight-knit, attending community events like Halloween on the Hill throughout the year. Sherman Hill also boasts a stellar location. Proximity to Downtown Des Moines and the East Village attracts professionals and nightlife lovers to plant their roots in this historic community. Educators and students can walk to nearby Drake University while foodies and artists adore having easy access to Pappajohns Sculpture Park and an array of eateries. Interstate 235 makes traveling via car a breeze.
