Located at 4000 feet elevation in a quiet community on a large, wooded property just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, you get the "tucked-in treehouse" feel. It has ideal convenience to Blowing Rock (6 miles away), Boone and the Appalachian State University Campus (less than 10 miles away), Tweetsie Railroad, and Appalachian Ski Mountain (both within 8 miles), as well as easy access to hiking trails, rivers, lakes, and ponds, and more. The main level offers an open great room with wood floors and vaulted ceilings. A stone wood-burning fireplace, leather furniture, and HD Smart TV highlight the great room. Adjacent to and open to the great room are the kitchen and dining area. The dining table seats eight guests, with a few more at the bar top with bar stool seating. The kitchen features stainless appliances and granite countertops and is well-outfitted with anything you need to prepare and serve meals to a packed house. The cozy covered rear porch is off the kitchen, with outdoor dining and a gas grill. The main entrance and great room open to a long open-air front porch with large picnic tables and a covered side deck. There is a half bathroom and a laundry room with a washer and dryer on the main level. The primary master suite on the main level features a comfy king-size bed, a HD Smart TV, and a private ensuite bathroom with a jetted tub and separate tile and glass shower. The master bedroom also boasts an adjustable standing desk. A HD monitor is available for guests to use as well. Upstairs offers two more bedrooms, a full bathroom with a tub and shower combo, and an open loft with games, comfy seating, and a twin day bed with a twin trundle bed for extra sleeping options. The front queen bedroom has a HD Smart TV, workspace, and a covered Juliette deck.
