Welcome to Acorn Lodge! This is the larger of two houses that sit on our property. Our home is nestled just above Kaaterskill Wild Forest, only a 25 min drive to Windham Mountain and approximately 30 min drive to Hunter Mountain. The location is perfect for winter skiing, sledding, and snowboarding. In the fall, hike below the beautiful foliage, and in the spring & summer be sure to check out the nearby swimming holes, more hiking, antiquing, and local farms & vineyards. Enjoy your morning coffee gazing out of the large picture windows or an afternoon cocktail al fresco on our patio. There are two markets nearby as well as a wine & liquor store for your convenience. This house is so well located that you will find great Food & Drink options moments away, including Log Cabin Cafe, Red Rooster Roadhouse, O&Neill's Cafe, Dalton’s Donuts, Barnwood, Murphy’s Law, and Bistro 27. Just a little further away (15 or so minute drive) you’ll find an even broader assortment including J&J Smokehouse BBQ, The Avalon Lounge, La Conca Doro, 394 Main, New York Restaurant, Cone E Island Ice Cream, and so much more.
