It is bursting with character, charm, and vibrant hues of blue that mimic the calming hues of the nearby Gulf of Mexico and the waters of Greece.

GETTING AROUND: Walk to the historic Sponge Docks/downtown, it’s easy to grab a bite at one of our many restaurants or wander and explore the history of this maritime legacy. Short drive to nearby attractions, parks and beaches. Some of the top attractions are not too far away if you want to stay local: Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks (Tourist Attraction) 15 minute walk Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral (Orthodox Church) 23 minute walk Craig Park (Park) 4 minute drive Sunset Beach (Beach) 9 minute drive Fred Howard Park (Park) 11 minute drive Howard Park Beach (Beach) 15 minute drive Take the Jolly Trolley (If you want to explore northern Pinellas County and Clearwater Beach, you should consider riding the Jolly Trolley. The coastal route will take you through Clearwater, Palm Harbor, Dunedin, and Tarpon Springs.) SHOPPING AND GROCERIES: Multiple shops can be found in the downtown area by the Sponge Docks. For additional supplies, it’s only a short drive to get onto US 19, where you have access to a number of department stores and supermarkets such as Walmart and Publix.
