I am a native to Chicago. I hold Graphic Design degrees from Columbia College Chicago and the University of Illinois at Chicago. I have worked for Jim Beam, Maker's Mark, Grubhub, and Fortune Brands. I like street art, tacos, and beaches. Communication is key. I can make almost anything happen if you message me prior to your stay with requests or questions. You have full privacy during your visit and will be checking in on your own unless you request a greeting from me. Although you may not hear from me during a short 2 day stay, please do not find this unmannerly or unfriendly. I do my best at checking-up on our guests and try to find an equal measure of giving our guests plenty of space as well. Although we do not have a front desk person or seeable staff on-site, I am always available for anything you will need and will never leave you hanging. Message me, call me, and if you need me I'm there. Please keep in my mind we are not a hotel but do keep our standards high. From my experience & when it comes to hospitality, countries, cities, and regions all do things a little differently.

This is a private three bedroom house in the Avondale neighborhood that comfortably accommodates 6 guests . Built in1920 the look and feel of the house is true Chicago vintage. The space is three large carpeted bedrooms, sunny dining room, chill living room, and 1 bathroom. Each bedroom has a large closet, full or queen size bed, night stand and dresser. Hardwood floors in the living and dining room add to the retro feel. Create breakfast for your crew in the large kitchen that has lots of cabinets and storage space. Decent size deck in the back with a gated backyard. There is a washer and dryer in the house that you may use. Although the house is in a manufacturing area, you are very much within the city limits and not the suburbs. The street that the house is on "Elston", can have lots of traffic during the day. The AGH is not walking distance to downtown. Also public transportation is not right outside our door. This location is best if you have a vehicle. You can get to downtown Chicago in 15 minutes or less by car. The rental is in the middle of it all. You can shoot into downtown quickly or be in Wrigleyville within minutes to watch the Cubs. You’ll love this place because of the neighborhood and privacy. You can get anywhere in the Chicagoland area from this location which is close to the 90/94 expressway and public transportation. Guests have plenty of privacy. I am available when needed. Using a vehicle to-and-from this location is recommended. Plenty of available free street parking. 15 minute drive to downtown.

Avondale’s industrial roots give it an urban feel, while an influx of event spaces and cool restaurants are breathing fresh life into the neighborhood. Some of these highlights include Guild Row, Rockwell on the River, Sarabande, Avondale Bowl, Greenhouse Loft and Revolution Brewing Taproom. The house sits near Logan Square, Bucktown, and Roscoe Village. Neighborhood eats include Eden, Dolce Arte, Soul & Smoke, La Zacatecana Taco's and Kuma's Corner. Grocers close to the house include Jewel and Mariano's.
