This place is great for relaxing and getting away from it all!
Sit on the deck and watch the clouds go by or humming birds fighting.
For active person - the advantage is that the house comes with 180 acres of land to hike, wander and wonder.
Two ponds , streams, forest, beautiful mountain views. Hike in the forest. Make campfire by the pond and have a picnic, cook some smores.
Town of Lenoir is about 12 miles away and has all the amenities the civilization can offer. Charming town of Hickory is about 25 minutes away, with nice restaurants and antique shops. Get your coffee in the School bus!
Large Lake Hickory is about 20 miles away offers game fishing, boating, dining cruises.
Cities of Asheville and Charlotte are about 70 miles away ( 1.5 hr drive).
A new small beach opened this year on Lake Hickory, it is about 12-15 minutes drive from the property.

Forrest covered mountains. This used to be a farm. but it was abandoned for about 25 years and now being restored.
On the property besides the Mountain retreat there are Large luxury tents, located in a very private settings. If you have an adventurous group, there is a Pioneer Wagon camp. A Covered Wagon settlement on way to conquer the Wild West.
