Enjoy our quiet retreat in the Sierra foothills. Relax with the whole family nestled in the woods of Mariposa and surrounded by giant boulders. Just 35 miles to Yosemite's Arch Rock Entrance and 10 minutes to the heart of Mariposa shops and dining. This area is vehicle dependent. The road to the house contains 1 mile of non-paved country road. We've had no problems with a front wheel drive car and snow is not an issue.
The yard is perfect for sunbathing, lawn games, or enjoying lunch on the deck overlooking the seasonal creek or star gazing at night. Enjoy outdoor games in total privacy on 12 acres.
The home is located on 12 acres in a quiet mountain community away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The road to the house contains 1 mile of non-paved country road (see photo). Home sits at 1,700 ft elevation and is just minutes from the town of Mariposa. 35 miles to Yosemite's Arch gate. 42 miles to Mariposa Grove. Bass Lake is just 45 minutes away. Off-roading and hiking trails close by.
