We developed this Bunk House for the children and grand children to use when visiting. This is a cabin and is about 225 Sq Ft. There is a private entry into the kitchenette / living room. The bedroom has a double bed and bunk beds. There is a bathroom that has a shower and built in sink. This cabin is 100 ft. behind our home nestled into the woods. To access Sebago lake you walk down our driveway and cross the street and you are on the waterfront.
Bring your water toys or use our Paddle boat and Paddle Boards. Water shoes are recommended
My wife and I are from Maine. We have a home on this property which has the cabin behind it. We have children and grandchildren who live in Utah and developed the cabin so they could visit and have a private space. We now share it with Guests and family and friends so they can enjoy this incredible area and the lake.
We are very busy during the days and come and go all the time. We have most of our meals here and also sleep here.
This is a quiet residential area that is very rural. There are great hikes and bikes to ride on. The waterfront is wonderful and is usually a center of attention. The Frye Island Ferry is 1 mile away. If you have your own boat you can travel the 2-3 miles to the island without a ferry. There is a fire pit on the property for evenings around the fire and roasting smores etc.
There are many lakes and all kinds of tourist attractions in the area. New Hampshire and Portland are each about and hours drive. There are ocean beaches about an hour away also. Freeport is also about an hour away. Boothbay harbor and Camden Rockland area are about 2 hours away. Boston is about 2 1/2 hours away.
