After twenty years of hard work, prayer and visualization, Kathy's vision finally came to fruition. When she met Larry and married him in 1994, Kathy's dream became his, after they visited Sedona together. They shared this very focused goal and moved from the Chicago suburbs to start bringing the vision into reality. They spent nine years in Gilbert visiting Sedona every 5 weeks and looking for the lot Kathy had seen in a meditation. Well, glory be, they finally found it in 2000 and started to gather ideas and designs for their bed and breakfast. In 2006 the construction was completed in only nine months and they opened for business in November. "We found it has been a perfect location and an ideal opportunity to share with others. We walk right out our door for the best hikes and walk five minutes to Oak Creek and a few minutes more to the Cathedral Rock vortex. Yes, we are living in paradise.

The Evergreen Room is on the first floor and the Sedona Safari Room is on the second. This contemporary home sits on a hill on an acre of tree studded land with cactus, wild grasses and flowers. The first addition was a chess/checkerboard patio. Then came the Jack and Jill fountain and flagstone patio where you can experience an engraved Native American medicine wheel. The latest is a 3' artistic stone wall and arbor defining the property on one side and a beautiful cedar fence backdrop for the fountain and sitting area on the other side. Enjoy dark skies with trillions of stars. There are anti-gravity lounge chairs to view the stars in comfort on the back or front decks. Guests love the private balcony for the upstairs room. This perfect location puts you in the center of wildlife, Oak Creek, fishing, biking and hiking trails but still only 3 mi. to the first stores. The spa atmosphere gives you huge jetted tubs, showers, massages, anti-aging treatments, warm towels & Sleep# beds. Design your own diet friendly organic breakfast. We built a luxury guest house and finished it in November of 2020. The quality of the furnishings and views are as amazing as the B&B. It is 50 feet away from our B&B so we are right there to help you with everything. We are just outside the city limits of Sedona . Advantages: Dark skies with no city streetlights to alter your starlit open view of the Milky Way Galaxy. Many of the best trails are walking or biking distance to the trail head, i.e. Cathedral Rock at Red Rock Crossing (Crescent Moon Park), Pyramid Peak, Scorpion, Ridge, Old Post and many others. The rustling of Oak Creek for fishing, swimming or just meditating is 5 minutes away. The creek can sometimes be heard from our property, rustling over rocks. We are on a very quiet, private one acre with many cozy places to sit and relax among the pinion pine. Refresh with Resort & Spa amenities but enjoy the privacy of only two luxury suites in a 4,600 sq. ft. modern home, on one of the most beautiful winding roads with red rock views in Sedona. More about the guest house (Cathedral Casita): It is a private 2 bdm., 2 bath casita,. Today our guests said they woke up to see the sunrise over Cathedral Rock and it was so heart opening, they cried at the beauty of nature.
