Take It Easy Cabin is a part of Mountain Mist Cabins. This dog friendly, secluded, 1 bedroom, plus loft bedroom, cabin is located less than 5 minutes off HWY 321 in Townsend, TN, also known as “The Peaceful Side of the Smokies.” Only 5 minutes (2.5 miles) from Tuckaleechee Caverns and 7 minutes (4 miles) to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park Entrance near Cades Cove. Perfect for two couples or a family, and bring along your furry family members! Other things to note: Dog Policy - If you are bringing your furry friend, you must submit a message through the app and let us know what the age and breed the dog is. We do not allow puppies less than 1 year old and certain breeds that are known to be destructive. All dogs must be house trained. You will be responsible for any damage caused by your dog. Please use the designated outdoor area for you pets to do their business and clean up after them. In some cases we do provide waste stations to clean up after them. Unless otherwise specified in the listing there will be a pet fee applied to your reservation. Individual booking must be at least 21 years old and present for the duration of the reservation. Should you bring more guests than reflected by your reservation you may be asked to leave the property without a refund and/or pay an additional 25USD per night per person. Condiments, zip locks, and coffee are NOT provided. Towels and linens are provided, as well as soaps, shampoos, and even toothbrushes, are available if you forgot yours! Quiet Hours are from 10PM to 9AM The hot tub is for guests 25 and over. Alcohol is NOT allowed near the tob tub. You may not use the hot tub if you have consumed any alcohol or are pregnant. USE HOT TUB AT YOUR OWN RISK! We do not offer early check-in or late check-out typically. However, if we are able to accommodate, there may be an additional charge.

Located on the Peaceful Side of the Smokies, Townsend is just 20 minutes (18 miles) to Pigeon Forge and 40 minutes (24 miles) to Gatlinburg. Less than 2 miles from HWY 321. Mountain Mist Cabins contain 5 individual and private cabins. The main driveway is shared, while each cabin has a private driveway for you! TAKE IT EASY is the 1st cabin on the left of the main driveway once you have turned in by the “Mountain Mist Cabins” sign at the main road. Mountain Mist Cabins is less than a mile to HWY 321 and just minutes away from many attractions. Only 1.6 miles to Davy Crockett Riding Stables, 2.5 miles to Tuckaleechee Caverns, and 4 miles to the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park & the Cades Cove Loop. Pulling in, TAKE IT EASY will be the 1st cabin on the left. While the main driveway from the main road is shared, each cabin has its own private driveway and yard. Other things to note: Please note the level of privacy at the cabin is dependent on the season. There is one other cabin in Mountain Mist that is visible from the driveway and front porch. Do not leave any trash or food outside, it will attract bears. You are in nature and there are bears and other wildlife in the area. If Bears get too accustomed to people, they are put down. If you feed the bears, you can kill the bears, please don't kill the bears. As with most cabins in the area, all fireplaces are shut down April 1 - September 30. Absolutely NO unauthorized fires! Unauthorized fires (including candles) will be charged 250USD plus damages. As always, be safe and use caution. You WILL be accountable for any damages.
