Our pricing is inclusive: each property is stocked with enough toiletries to last the entire reservation and an array of cooking staples to prevent unanticipated grocery runs. We provide gig speed internet -- the fastest speeds on the coast -- with two direct ethernet connections and wifi throughout the home. Further, we do the cleaning -- guests need only lock the door and turn off the lights upon departure. As with any business or hotel, exterior security cameras cover all outdoor areas. The interior is outfitted with vacation rental industry-approved decibel/cigarette smoke measuring devices (Minut Sensors: no audio or video). These tools improve the experience for the vast majority of our guests by maintaining good neighbor relations and keeping the home smoke-free: happy neighbors lead to happy guests who have great vacations. We are fully licensed/permitted through the State/County. A security deposit, photo ID, and a signed rental agreement are required to rent our properties. Any visitors will be included in the guest count Sunkissed is a play on the color of the home, but it perfectly describes a Pacific Northwest summer. There is another shade named for the region: Grays Harbor. A deep sulky blue-grey, it mirrors the color of the Pacific during fierce autumn storms. Our beach home sits on a bluff above the ocean in the secluded hamlet of Pacific Beach. 10-min walk/90-sec drive down to the beach (park on the sand); 29 miles to Lake Quinault/Olympic Nat'l Park. Dog-Friendly: 2 max. Photo ID, security deposit, and signed Rental Agreement required. All visitors to be listed as guests. Comfortably apportioned for groups or couples who enjoy more space. A main floor bedroom sports a firm king mattress, expansive drawer space, walk-in closet, and 40" Smart TV/cable. Linens are high thread-count cotton for comfort and durability. A small deck provides access to the privacy-fenced back yard with ample room for dogs and kids to play. When in-season, help yourself to cherries, nectarines, apples, and berries. An infrared grill allows for summer cookouts while a propane fire pit warms those chilly coastal evenings through shimmering copper fire-glass. The kitchen has place settings for 8, wine glasses, and an assortment of cooking utensils and bakeware. An 11-piece stainless steel cookware set ensures a pristine cooking experience. Appliances include a hand mixer, blender, coffee and espresso makers (plus grinder), toaster, and dishwasher. We stock coffee, spices, and basic cooking staples, as grocery shopping is limited nearby. The dining room contains seating for 8 and an assortment of board games while the living room sports a 60" Smart TV/cable and electric fireplace to keep the winter chill at bay. These rooms overlook a large front deck containing a bistro set and planters of fresh herbs. Upstairs, one bedroom boasts a queen soft memory foam mattress, desk with monitor, 32" Smart TV/cable, and access to a large deck with sectional seating and glimpse ocean views. The other has a queen pillowtop mattress, Eurolounger, 32" TV/cable, and garden balcony. Plush white towels and dual hand showers create a spa-like setting. 4 stairs to enter home. 1 main floor bed (king). All baths are tub/shower combos - no walk-in showers.

Pacific Beach is an isolated village with a population of just over 200. Coupled with the adjacent upscale development of Seabrook, there are a scattering of diverse restaurants, art galleries, and sports rentals catering to a wide array of tastes and budgets. The expansive, undeveloped beaches are the main draw, however, as well as the proximity to the southwestern rainforests and coastlines of Olympic Nat'l Park. The offshore islands and reefs along this stretch of coastline comprise the Copalis National Wildlife Refuge, providing vital nesting habitat for one of the nation's largest seabird populations, including Double-Crested Cormorants, Tufted Puffins, the Common Murre, and the Pigeon Guillemot - in addition to sea otters, California sea lions, and harbor seals, which give birth on the islands. From the shoreline to the edge of the continental shelf (25-50 miles), the waters are protected by the Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary. Encompassing several major submarine canyons, over 200 shipwrecks, and a productive upwelling zone, the sanctuary protects habitat for kelp, fish, coral, sponges, seabirds, and marine mammals. From Sept through April, razor clam season draws thousands to Washington's beaches. Long a staple of life for the Coast Salish tribes, this precious resource is now managed by the Dept of Fish and Wildlife. Dig days are organized by region (ours is "Mocrocks") and divided between fall digs (where the approved low tide occurs at night with fewer crowds) and spring digs, which occur in the morning. Obtain a license at You-and-I Market. Olympic Nat'l Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site for its biodiversity, lies 29 miles northeast. This peninsula is biologically-isolated from the rest of the continent and harbors many species found nowhere else scattered over an array of ecosystems, from alpine meadows to temperate rain forests and the longest stretch of undeveloped coastline in the lower US. There is something here for every interest.
