Our hospitality journey: We bought a run-down 1894 riverfront Victorian home in 1976. The intention was to restore the home to its former splendor & raise our family in it. Renovations completed over the course of 14 years to the current 13 rooms (6 bedrooms) & 3 1/2 baths. As our children began leaving home, we opened the Victorian Loft B&B in 1992 beginning with the Loft Suite and adding Lydia's Room 3 years later. We also started renting our family's second home, Cedarwood Lodge, to vacationers in 1992. The 3 BR mountain cabin sleeps up to six guests, sits on 8 private acres surrounded by the Moshannon State Forest. A few years later, we added the Second Street Suite, a 1 BR vacation rental apartment which can sleep up to five guests. Tim is an attorney in solo practice, and we own & manage residential rental units.
