Kaleburnu, a tiny hillside village on the Karpaz Peninsula, is a hidden gem with beautiful countryside around it which has many fascinating traces of the past. The house was built in 1947 and recently renovated with original features. The house is 2 kilometers away from the sandy beaches and there are some famous local restaurants nearby. Dipkarpaz village which has the Apostolos Andreas Monastery, is 7 kilometers away and Yeni Erenköy village which has the Karpaz Gate Marina is 5 kilometers away. A real Cypriot experience in a fantastic rural location which you will find some friendly villagers in this quiet traditional working village. It is an excellent base for exploring the Karpaz Peninsula. Please note that you need to do your shopping and fill your tank before you arrive to the village as the facilities are very limited and the steps of the house are very steep so it is not suitable for disabled or very elderly.
Osman who can speak fluent Turkish English and Greek will be ready at all times to help you.
Kaleburnu is a very small village by the beach which is surrounded by 12 villages including Dipkarpaz Sipahi and Yenierenkoy
