More spacious and luxurious than your average holiday villa, the property is tastefully decorated and boasts outstanding views over the Mediterranean and amazing sunsets. The 4 bedroomed villa (all bedrooms with en suite bathrooms) boasts a very spacious open plan living and dining room, with a large and very well-equipped kitchen. One of the double bedrooms can be found on the ground floor, with doors opening out onto the large pool terrace. The remaining 3 bedrooms are on the first floor, two with double beds and one with two single beds (which can of course be pushed together to make another large double). With a large stone barbecue, recently renovated pool and amazing views, and large pool terrace/outside dining area, inside and out the house provides everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. To the rear of the house is an attractive courtyard - a real suntrap - and the house boasts a large split-level garden with fruit trees. There is parking space for 2 cars, 1 under a car port. The villa is not suitable, nor is it equipped, for stays of children under 3 years of age. There are new air conditioning units throughout the villa, both for colling the property in summer and heating it in winter, as there is no central heating. The pool is not heated, so the water would be cold out of season.

Our villa is set half way up the hillside above Lapta, in Kyrenia province, Northern Cyprus. It is less than 10 minutes drive downhill to local beaches and to shops and restaurants, but it's only by being on the hillside that you get such fantastic views. The villa is very private, with only 3 houses on the street, although it's not always easy to find. Car-hire is essential but within 25-30 minutes you are in Kyrenia with its Venetian port and impressive castle. Bellapais Abbey and other forts of the Kinghts of the Templar are within easy driving distance, if you can drag yourself away from the villa and its views.
