Our Apartment is super clean and perfectly located in the heart of Umdloti. We take great pride in ensuring that our guests enjoy the very best the beach village of Umdloti has to offer. You can book with complete confidence knowing that your experience during your stay is of our utmost importance and that we will be on hand to help with anything at all.
Maria, originally from Finland is Physio with a practice in Durban North (20mins from Umdloti). She is a complete fitness fanatic and competes in CrossFit events at a high level. Having spent 12 years managing 5* Hotels and Spas in Europe, Shaun now runs a digital marketing agency Big Fish Media. His passion is fishing and he often launches his fishing ski from Umdloti Beach. They have two children Finn (11) and Heli (9) who keep them very busy. Shaun's Grandfather is originally from Umdloti and with the family Estate being sold in the 1980's Shaun wanted the Elliot's to return in some small way to the village that lays host to so many happy childhood memories for him,
SWIMMING / PROTECTED BEACH While we swim almost anywhere along this beach, there are Lifesavers on duty just to the north of the beach in front of the apartment and also at the tidal pool a little further north where the road curves to the left. The beach in front and on both sides is protected by shark nets. RESTAURANTS There are two fine dining restaurants directly below, Bel Punto and Mundo Vida, both of which are excellent. There is also Café Java (coffee shop) and The Bush Tavern (family bar restaurant) directly below. SECURITY - ENTRANCE AND EXIT TAGS With only one entrance and exit into the village security is very good. The resort has CCTV and guards on duty 24/7. Access is controlled via tags. The green tag is for the pedestrian gates and the grey tag is for the vehicle entrance and exit gates. The grey tag will only allow you to exit if you entered using it and vice versa.
