Cottage on Long is an affordable quaint 2 bedroomed cottage on a small working farm, offering country style comfort with all the comforts of home amenities, surrounded by lime orchards and stunning mountain views.
Billy & I (Sonya) look forward to welcoming you to our "little piece of heaven" at 16 Long Street. We are both retired and spend our time looking after the farm, growing and harvesting lime fruit for the market as well as ensuring our guests are comfortable and well taken care of.
The beautiful country town of Montagu appeals to all the senses. Spectacular beauty only the surrounding mountains can provide, melodious birdsong or friendly chatter at the local weekly market. The taste of delectable fresh and dried fruits as well as good country style food and award winning wines. The heady scent of fynbos in the morning air or the sweet aroma of our local Muskadel while you relax in the warmth of the Klein Karoo sunshine. The visionary explosion of a Karoo sunrise while you hike or bike one of the many hiking trails. Montagu's heritage values are a reflection of its rich historical culture, offering you a chance to travel back in time. The relaxed atmosphere, clean air and friendly town folk, is all the more reason to visit.
