Escape to the countryside and relax in this cozy eco farm cottage. Located on a working farm, this peaceful retreat is perfect for couples or families looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Enjoy solar-powered living with NO LOADSHEDDING and clean borehole drinking water.
There is plenty of space for kids to ride their bicycles (new kids bike track in front of cottage). Enjoy a quiet evening around the fire or take in the bushveld view from the stoep.
Family time is the best. For me there’s not enough Christmas days in a year.
I love spoiling people with good food and company. The “bushveld TV”… a boma fire under the starry sky with a Merlot, brings out the best in me.
Eco farm cottage is situated about 50km (40 min drive) from Rustenburg Waterfall Mall and 20km (20 min drive) from Swartruggens. The closest town is Swartruggens with a petrol station, supermarket, butchery, pharmacy and a few restaurants.
Sun City Resort is 60km (1 hour drive) from the Cottage. The stunning Pilanesberg National Park can be accessed from the Bakubung Gate that is also about an hour's drive (58 km). Certainly worth the trip.
For your convenience please bring along all food and necessities that you might need during your stay. Breakfast is available on request. First batch of firewood is provided. Extra available at additional cost.
There is a gravel road of around 5 kilometers from the main road to the farm cottage. Accessible with a small car, but can be slippery when wet.
